Cindy's Suds is a family business based in Lowell, Michigan
where we live on 11 acres that we share with 30 chickens, 7 cats and
a dog. We have a large organic garden and orchard where we attempt
to grow a lot of our own food. If you are a gardener, you know that
the best laid Spring plans don't always show up at Fall Harvest, but
every year we do our best! We believe in sustainability, good stewardship
of the land, recycling and buying local, natural
and organic foods and products. These lifestyle choices are central
in how we live, and we practice them in our business model as well.
All
of our products are handcrafted in small batches. We use only the highest
quality oils and herbs, and buy organic whenever possible. Our products
are made from 100% pure plant based ingredients, and we use no petroleum,
parabens, artificial preservatives or colors. Only natural ingredients
that are safe for you and your body go into Cindy's Suds. In addition,
we are committed to protecting the environment and therefore practice
minimal packaging of all our products.
Our journey began several years
ago when I began making soaps for my own family and as gifts for friends
and family. After the demand grew for more product from my "test group",
I decided to start my own business and add to the product line. As
a Certified Physician Assistant, wife and homeschooling mother of three,
I have always been devoted to health and well being, and using natural
products is something we have always practiced in our own family. Creating
Cindy's Suds just seemed a natural extension of what we already did!
We
